week #3

Today was the beginning of week # 3, hopefully, I've got this thing licked. Got woke up this morning with an early morning phone call from work and decided to hit the road a little early. It is amazing the difference 20 minutes can make, so much more peaceful out there.well we will see what time I get to go home today, looking forward to perhaps stretching the ride home out a bit...

Commuted home

Rode home tonight at 5:30, traffic was light but after a week of commuting I was tired and it was a slow ride. Didn't have any problems with the drivers so I guess it was a success. First full week of commuting, hopefully I am on a roll.

Let's get started

I have truly begun commuting by bicycle,again... I haven't driven the car to work in nearly 2 weeks. It sometimes amazes me the responses I get when people find out I ride a bicycle to work, it ranges from wow, how far do you ride and how long does that take you?, to you are stupid and shouldn't be on the road.It is truly a mixed bag of responses....I think the drivers are getting used to seeing me again. I am amazed at how hard the ride home feels after work, guess sitting behind a desk takes it out of you...well here's to hoping it doesn't rain on the way home...
